Sigil Verification Guide
The Colonial Sigil is the 6th generation Colonial community hub and is the largest and longest running Colonial community hub. This servers purpose is to provide solo Colonials and clan affiliated Colonials a platform for communication and coordination tools, and general conversation. The Colonial Sigil is NOT a clan, though it may appear so, but acts as a common ground to network. The Colonial Sigil is set up so that players can freely come and go as they please no strings attached no commitment. And as old Sigil administrative bodies leave the community, responsibility can be transferred to newer administrative bodies; so that decisions can be made by people who still understand the game as it is today.
Getting Basic Verification
Neutrals, New Players, Basic Authentication
Players coming from Wardens to play Colonials are considered Neutrals and must complete basic authentication to prove they are playing Colonials this war in order to receive the Colonial role. New players who do not know people who can vouch for them must also complete basic authentication to prove they are Colonials this war in order to receive the Colonial role.
Step 1
Be prepared! You will need a Steam profile Link ready and travel to an Engineering Center.

Go to the Engineering Center
Step 2
Start the authentication process on discord. You can do this by typing /sbauth or clicking on the button in the #Welcome and Rules channel in Sigil.
Click 'Get Basic Authentication' and check your DMs!
Step 3
Reply to the BOT with your Steam profile Link AND a FullScreen Screenshot of the Technology Tree with your unique coded published into local chat.

Step 4
Once your information is successfully submitted please wait patiently while our Vetters process the applications in the order they were received.
Step 5 - For Clan Members
Basic Verification is only good for 1 war, to avoid having to re-register each war. It's best you get clan vouched.
Once you finish initial verification you will get a couple options. Select Clan vouch and this will have you be perm vouched as long as you are verified within our clan!
Step 6 - For Clan Members
Once you have gained clan vouch. Reach out to a officer in a secured channel and type /sbauth to show you have been verified.
